Got all the snow damaged fixed and headed back out on the saltwater. MA-9 was good.

Fished solo on Monday. Banged around in MA 8-2 for a while. Didnt find anything so jumped over to Possession Bar. Wind kicked up, water got rough and FISH ON!!! It was quite the circus. Crawling around in the boat, trying not to get pitched overboard and get the fish in the net. Would make a great video. Fishing solo for these rascals definitely takes it to a whole new level. Old Goat OG2 blue/green gotter done. Was a dang bumpy ride.

Fished Tuesday with Ben Eggertson. Weather was beautiful in the morning but got bumpy again about 1 oclock. We put two in the box. Highlite of the day was a slammin double takedown Very cool when that happens. Total three ring circus, like monkeys with a football. Lost one and got one to the net. Hot ticket was Silver Horde Kingfisher in the Cookies n Creme pattern.

Found fish both days on the Southeast corner of the bar right at the dropoff. 100-120 fow and dragging the bottom.

Tuesday we saw the new cranes for Port of Tacoma go buy. Dang those suckers are huge. The person driving the barge has got some serious brass for sure.

Tight lines
Randy

Hey Randy, the boat recovery from the snow damage looks really good. Glad to see it did not keep you down for very long. I wish our snow would leave. We got another 3-4'' today! "Like monkeys with a football" sounds like great action! Thanks for the report. Andy

Boat damage was pretty annoying simply because I was too lazy to go brush the snow off the tent. Cracked window, bent window frame, torn canvas, bent struts, broken lights and 2 broken poles.

Caught the fish Monday on the 2.8 OG2, but I lost a significant fish on Tuesday (the slammin double takedown) on the 3.9 OG2. Both were the blue/green color.

Awesome thanks for the info. I had a lot of succes with the 2.8 last year but this year I have been running the 3.3 and have had some results but nowhere near as many as when I ran the 2.8. Earlier in the season i kept striking and decided to try a bigger profile but I might have to go back to the 2.8
