Had to give it a 5 because of the one BIG fish. Ron and I out to Star lake and didn't expect much, but when I saw the water temp at 61.5 I was like this could work. A bit windy then real calm then more wind. Caught 1 at 2 lbs. and that was OK then about 2:15 caught this 8 lb. 3 oz. that had that 12 ft. tin boat just spinning. That " Willow Switch" of a rod I was using was bent completely over. Fish ran to the back of the boat then up the port side then again to the back then to port then under the boat. It was my PB and I was shaking for 20 minutes. I was trying to re-tie my hook and I just had to take a break. Lost one about 3 hours later that was a big one too but I never got a good hookset into it. Very Very light bight.

Hey Andy..always good to have a day on the lake..fish or no fish.

That is a nice hawg... is that bass in the your post the 8 lb 3 oz that you report mentions?
