Fished Jameson with my dad and our friend Mike for the fall opener. Once again it took longer to drive to the lake than it did to limit. At our first spot we started catching 7 inchers and a few 11 inchers. The game wardens came by checking catch totals and reminding anglers about the rule with bait fishing (first 5 trout caught bait fishing make up your limit whether retained or released). We decided we didn't want to limit on mostly 7 inchers, so we pulled anchor, turned on the fish finder, and tried to find another spot with some bigger fish. At our second spot we did generally catch bigger fish. For the last fish of the day, I caught a 14 incher, the largest fish of the day. All in all, another enjoyable day fishing Jameson.
