Well once again we made it to the water but still didn't really connect. Found some decent Walleye but the wind made staying on top of them pretty difficult. We kept hoping the wind would let up so stayed in the same spot. Maybe should have gone looking for a spot that was a little more protected. We started late out of Porcupine and went to the upper river and got a really nice one right off the bat but just couldn't keep the flow going. On the way back the storm really hit and getting the boat off the water was quite a rodeo and then of course by the time we had things put away it got pretty calm. Oh well it was a good day on the water with a good friend, not the kind of day you want to pass on. We were bottom bouncing with odds and ends. With only 8 fish it's hard to say what worked best but a Super Death hook and a worm is as good as any, maybe, I think.
Stay after them, it's the right thing to do.

Nice pic and good to hear you nailed some. Let the wind blow, that SR can handle plenty. :-)
