After a morning of bluegills and 1lb basses, I started going for bullheads hoping to maybe hook into a channel and sure enough after maybe 10 or so decent sized bullheads, my rod dipped hard tilting the kayak. A good 5lb or so channel was on the line, dragging the kayak around in circles as my drag was running and me hoping my line dont snap as I was using only 6lb test. I had to get this one in the net fearing losing the fish. After about an hour or so and catching more bullheads, I moved into another spot and bam, number 2 on the line. Same results dragging me in circles and number 2, and limit. Great day and great fighting spirit. They made a great meal as I've been longing for fresh catfish fillets. Gonna be round 2 soon.

Ive caught a 5 pound catfish and those look more than 5 pounds

What do you use for bait in Fazon? And do you fish on the bottom or with a bobber?

Bottom with homemade catfish dough. And it was a guess on weight. Measured the first one at 23in and didnt bother to measure the second.
