Windy day but the fish were biting. Only thing bad was the crappie weren't as big as I'd hope so I ended up releasing all of them. Caught a few bass, some perches, sunnys and bluegills. All in all, good fishing day, just nothing I wanted to keep.

That bass looks pretty skinny. Probably post spawn.

Couldn't catch the bass on bass gear, caught all 5 bass on my crappie rigs.

It's because they are conditioned to feed on fry balls this time of year. I always downsize until July, be amazed what will smash a tiny Beetle Spin this time of year lol

100% Correct. I Caught a 2 pounder the other day on a tiny green Rooster Tail.
