8/3/2019 9:04:05 AMGotta hand it to you for surviving the heat. I agree with Bullpine and will wait until things cool off. How were the bullheads? They taste fine late in the fall, but I am curious if the warmer temps make any difference. How green or murky is the water now?

8/3/2019 10:42:04 AMIt’s not as slimy now as it will be in a month. My brother in law loves the bullheads. I haven’t heard how they tasted. I feel doubly lucky since the day I fished was low 90’s. This week over 100! Too much! Might need to try the night fishing. I also saw plenty of largemouth bass feeding in the weed beds. Good time to pitch a frog.

8/4/2019 11:01:56 PMHad a day like that on Potholes about 10 years ago. 112 degrees and I caught the biggest walleye of my life, 26 inches, along with 2 others that were just under the 22 inch mark. Some times being stubborn pays off.
