Headed out from Edmonds around 3pm in a last ditch effort to pick up a chinook before area 10 closed, spent 3:30 to 6:15 trolling from apple cove to jeff head and back with two lines out, got one blank but no fish. Was using 5 inch tomic plugs on both lines, one on downrigger anywhere from 90 to 145 on wire and one on a 50 foot jet diver, troll in 90-300FOW and was around 3mph to get good movement on the plugs. Plenty of boats out at Jeff head but I didn't see any nets flying, will have to wait until winter season or maybe a jaunt down to 13 to hone my chinook skills. Still had fun!
