Launched from Shilshole around 5:30 am and trolled for an hour and half in Meadow Pt, after lots of short strikes finally landed a 20 inch wild Coho. The bite was slowing down so decided to make a run to the oil tanks where lots of boats were trolling. Switched from a hoochie to coho killer and quickly picked up a 21.5 inch Pink, then a shaker and lots of short strikes.

Went back to Meadow Pt and picked another 21 inch pink right in front of the breakers then called it a day. The gear was double deep six diver + no bananas flasher + green hoochie/coho killer with a herring strip. A big shout out and thanks to the gentleman (in a Lund boat I guess) who gave us the green hoochie rig that was working well for him and got our first fish of the day!

FYI, the fish pictured here is a pink. Easy mistake to make, I've done it a number of times. Look at the spots on the bottom lobe of the tail. Kings and pinks are the only salmon that have spots covering the whole tail.
