Fished banks lake for Bass 10/06 thru 10/11 caught lots of smallies and 1 large mouth, Fish were down about 30 feet or so, Most of the fish we caught were on Grubs or robo worms texas rigged and jigged deep when the wind was not blowing to hard. Saw some huge Rainbows cruising the surface on more then one occation like 5 to 7 pounds one of them charged my grub next to the boat and nearly gave me a heart attack! 99% of the fish you see cruising the surface are carp but every once in a while you will see one of these big bows, OK now for the long wait till spring
