11/9/2019 10:56:50 AMYeah I know, I wouldn't have thought to use the small leech but it had worked a couple times before. They were just nipping at everything else so I figured I needed to downsize. Weather was too nice, making them skittish I think.

11/14/2019 5:27:03 AMOff the bank, a green garlic marshmallow with a mealworms floated up 18 to 20 inches and a sliding weight was the ticket. Used to catch fish all day long from the launch. September through october casting yozuri crystal minnows or rapalas off the bridge did well on the spawners. Twitch twitch pause and bang!

11/14/2019 6:09:31 AMI don't know that many people know about the spawners. I saw a couple of rollers around the launch. I talked to a guy who was shore fishing who had been getting some success. Definitely one of my favorite things is the same thing: twitching minnow type plugs. I like lucky craft slender pointers. They haven't seemed as motivated to hit the suspending jerkbaits last week or last fall, compared to previous years, not sure if there are fewer fish or something else.
