After I had to reschedule some trips up here in Washington due to weather last week I decided to make my way down to the Clackamas River in Oregon to fish with friends for a couple days. I quickly discovered why the river seems to be one of the more popular steelhead streams in Oregon, as I hooked a small steelhead on my first cast ever into the river! We Spey fished most of the ‘big water’ that looked good, but all of our fish we landed over the course of the trip came on bobber-dogged pink worms. Can’t wait to go back someday!
