Launched in town approximately 8:30am and saw boats by Lakeside park, so started trolling there. We marked a lot of fish and got a couple bites but no hook-ups. We saw only one fish netted and talked to a couple boaters and one kayak angler, and all complained that they marked plenty of fish but they weren't biting. As the morning went on the boat and PWC traffic increased, and it became clear that we needed to try another location.

We headed up near the blue roofs and marked more schools, and we finally started landing fish. We didn't stay long due to family commitments, but we did ok and had a good time. We had a mix of Brad's Kokanee cut plugs, wedding rings and hoochies and caught fish on all, with the cut plugs netting us the most fish. Fish were caught primarily at 30-40', but we caught some on our lead-core line that was three colors out and maybe 20'.

If we had started at the blue roofs I think we would have gotten our limits, but it was still a fun morning. In the photo is my niece's husband, and it was his first time fishing from a boat and fishing for kokanee.
