After a week of evacuations and watching the fire burn entirely around our house to within a half mile I was in need of some time on the water. Decided to go and see how the Kokanee were shaping up at Alta. Caught one monster buck that turning all the rest were still chrome or next years fish. Surface water temps were 66 F and fish were holding at 25-30' deep. Nearly all were caught on one rod as I was running an experiment (see below).

Hi Upland, I remember you saying in one of your other videos about curing your corn. Do you have any pointers on that as far as using salt and scents to cure corn for kokanee? Thanks

Yes fire is contained. All evacuation alerts have been lifted.
