We heard of some nice trout taken from Liberty last weekend so we thought we would give it a try. We trolled the entire lake only to take in a few perch. If you have not been there this year the ramp and facilities are top notch. A great deck was built to fish from and the ramp is beautiful. They just need to make it longer for there is no place to tie off on when you need to get the car. It took us 45 minutes to take the boat out of the water. Just to add to the fish in the lake I landed a 17 inch walleye last year from this lake in the fall. Over all a poor fishing day but a great day to be on the lake.
