Launched at Ft Spokane about 10:30 am. Trolled out of the launch with no action. Headed to split rock and fished N of the rock close to shore. Picked up a few and lost a couple. Nice average size and one 21". No red bands today. Finished the day N of the confluence along the east shore. Kept 8, released one and lost a couple that unhooked on the way to the boat. Kekeda flys on 2 colors leaded and 50' leaders. 2 to 2.8 mph. All colors worked, none were hot. Fish are shallow. Most don't show on the fish finder. Only three other boats on the water that we saw. Fish were 15", 15.5", 16", 17" 17.5" 17.5" 18" 21".

Thanks for the report, glad you did well. I have never done well around Split Rock. I know other do but I just seem to pick the wrong day it seems. Been hearing that people are doing well up around Hunters. Have never fished that far up, will maybe try it soon.

Haven't seen any reports from Hunters lately. Used to fish there a lot. No crowds there in the winter. Quiet and beautiful. If you go, please post.
