Atleast you got some action and quality though it required covering many a mile... With the rains and winds coming this week, it could get even more murky on the Spok.

3/12/2022 6:12:31 PMThe dirty water hasn't made it to Ft Spokane yet but it will. The water way up past buoy 5 actually appeared to be slightly better but we still couldn't buy a bite. The Arm is actually 3 degrees warmer than the Columbia so it is attracting eyes but the water visibility has put them in a foul mood.

3/12/2022 6:38:43 PMThanks for the intel Mark. I had 37 degrees below keller the other day. I was assuming the Spokane from Cayuse up was probably edging to 40, but I plan on focusing my attention on the Columbia silver fish til the Spokane turbidity turns around.

3/13/2022 6:44:27 PMMorrow, the current upriver of Porcupine Bay is going pretty strong. Upto 1.6 mph so spinners would be hard to use. I was going to try trolling crankbaits but we got our butts kicked so bad I just headed out to the main river

3/15/2022 12:02:34 PMThank you for posting these reports, it is very helpful trying to put together a trip! From the sounds of it, with the recent rain the main arm would be a better option for eyes? I am looking at taking some family up there this week, would Ft Spokane be a good place to start or is the launch even useable? (havent fish the area in 20 years) I am looking at the lake level and the minimum launch numbers and if I read it right should be still useable? Any advice would be greatly appreciated....would hate to be driving around looking for a useable launch half the day!

3/15/2022 4:06:13 PMZeuki. Ft Spokane is usable and the Arm is pretty much dirty all the way to the mouth. The main Columbia is clear and depending on wind is probably the better choice. Not sure where you are coming from but the weather is going to be on/off wet through the weekend. Friday doesn't look terrible but Saturday and Sunday are not great. The rain doesn't really affect the Columbia just makes it miserable for us.

3/15/2022 7:04:05 PMThanks a ton Mark! Have been watching videos and reading up on as much as possible, walleye from a boat will be new for me. Looks like Friday is our best shot.
