Wow! What an experience. My buddy Jason and I got the low-down on this
lake located North East of Duvall. It is a appx. a two and a half mile hike
into the lake--but the confusing matter is merely finding it. When you do
find it, trust me, you're going to want to take the old gravel road to the
primitive launch(?), rather than bushwhacking it like we did through some
pretty rough terrain to merely put off from the first side of the lake you
see. You'll waste time and energy only to find out that most of the lake is
not ideal for launching a raft.

We saw some pretty neat sites. A cougar crossed our path a hundred yards
ahead of us, and Jason got to see me enter into a state of mild hypothermia
(No Joke)! I guess the best thing is that I FINALLY got a brook trout. It
was a dandy, two. I used a small chrome Kastmaster. After that we switched
to our fly rods and didn't do as hot. Well, honestly, physically we were in
pretty bad shape as it was 35 degrees, windy, and absolutely pouring out.
Who knows, with diligence, we may have landed more of the brookies,
rainbows, or cuts this lake boasts of.
