I took Jay with me and we launched out of Ft Spokane. We headed up the main Columbia and hit a few of our favorite places. After 4 hours we had 3 nice eyes of about 20 inches in the livewell. Extremely slow day. We started working our way up the Arm and managed 8 more eyes. Various swimbait colors did all of the damage. I cleaned 6, the others were dinks. Jay also caught a nice 19 inch rainbow on a jig.

Did you meet three guys in a dark red ranger bass boat this weekend?

Saw 2 guys in a bass boat throwing blade baits near Neighborly. I probably put 40 miles on my Tracker chasing eyes on Saturday, passed a couple of other bass boats as well.

Jedi the Arm from mid Porcupine Bay downriver towards Ft Spokane has a little color but it is not bad at all. Last weekend was the full moon and it always seems to slow the eye bite way down for me.

Ty Mark. Yeah I concur. It has always been my view that they do more night feeding under the waxing to full phases and thus less hungry for the daytime.
