3/24/2023 5:39:02 AM try some trolling when it's cloudy or a day when there's some ripple/chop on Roosevelt. When it flattens in high sun it's a tough gig to get much action unless you are really early or late in the day.

3/24/2023 9:58:29 AMThank you for the tip. This is the first winter I didn't use the boat for months. Usually between waterfowling and fishing it never sits more than 3-4 weeks so this was just really a shake down for the boat. That's my story and I'll stick to that. ;-)
In all seriousness I mostly used to walleye fish when the water was this low and would start trolling for trout in local lakes when the ice cleared. When the local put and take lakes get warm and crowded I'd move to Roosevelt. Rosy trout were more of a summer and fall activity for me.
