It was a beautiful spring day out on the water, temps in the 50s, sunny, just perfect to be out. Started fishing around 10:30 the middle third of the lake, trolling a small plug just off the surface. The middle section is about 6 feet deep. Caught a nice rainbow of about 12" at 11am. Wandered to the north end of the lake, didn't see much going on. Came back to the middle of the lake and watched as a fellow fisherman had multiple hook-ups. Turns out he was slow trolling power-bait with just a split shot. I switched over to this set up and caught one more fish for the BBQ and called it a day. Several bass anglers out, didn't see them having any luck. Did see a fly fisher catching some trout by the boat launch.
