Didn't feel like going all the way to Potholes so I took Mike with me to the Arm. We targeted deep holes near buoys 1 and 3. Mike was a vertical jigging machine. He used the same color jigging rap all morning, why change if it's working. I also used a jigging rap but also tried jigs and spoons. The jigging raps were the way to go. We caught 50+ eyes; many were dinks but we did keep 18 nice eaters. If you were wondering how early the burbot start showing up well wonder no more. Mike got an early start at being crowned the burbot king by catching one today. We definitely wore our arms out using jigging raps for 6 hours today. Most of the eyes were stuffed with 3-4 inch perch and smallies.
