Don't ever fish Webster Lake--Ever!

This lake is a great looking trout lake outside of Renton in a very posh neighborhood. The lake is private. I asked one of the local residents if I could fish the lake and they were very friendly and granted my request and wished me luck. And I was on my way.

It was a weird evening shifting from rainy to sunny and back again. No rises--No subsurface takes--"NO FISHING ON THIS LAKE!" Hollered a voice at the end of the lake. "Get 'cher float tube over here right now!" Rang the voice.

When I got into shore this resident said I was not able to fish the lake unless the resident in which I had received permission from was in my immediate presence. "Whatever," I thought. "This place sucks anyway." I packed up my things and returned to my car.

I get home and I have a message from my parents. It appears that one of the neighbors called the County Sherriff and reported my Acura as a "strange" vehicle. The officer then presumed the vehicle stolen and started doing history checks on my vehicle and calling my folks and everything only to learn that I was legally out fishing. Man, forget this place. There are better lakes and this thing is more hassle than its worth.
