We went out in the boat on St. Claire and had a nice day of weather but not such good fishing. We were fishing for about 3 hours with powerbait with no results. Finally my friend got frustrated and put about half of the powerbait in the container on his hook. He casted it out there and not 2 seconds later there was a rainbow on. Not over 11" though. The next day we caught 2 small ones floating powereggs off the bottom with attractant. No luck with spinners or wedding rings. Spotted lots on the sonar but couldn't catch them. The people off shore were having luck though despite the enormous crowd.
