We left quite a bit later than we normally do and did not get to the lake until 0745 and there were 5 boats in ahead of us. We fished across from the launch and a little to the South
of the cove. Set the anchors and almost set a hook. The first fish was a trout, we know because we were a little late with the net and she spit the hook and it was bye bye to us. At almost
the same time we hooked a silver and we got that one in the boat. About average size for Clear Lake about 13".

The fishing went real well until 1000 and it was like some one turn off the fishing switch, all action stopped. We tried trolling for another 1 1/2 hours and got nothing. We left with one limit and
two short of the other. Grand total of eight. Four silvers and four trout.

But a good time was had by all.
