Got to Beaver Lake around 7:45am Saturday morning.
Went with the sole intention of fishing for Bass. I started with a
dark green plastic worm rigged with a weed-less hook and fished around and through the lily pads. I got 4 good hits in typical bass style, the line tightened up and started running out. But, every time I tried to set the hook, my worm came flying right out of the water. I came to the conclusion that these must have been small fish.. Very exciting, but a little disappointing.
