If you like trout American lake is the place to be... If you can
find a place away from the jetskis you will find the fish. I started at
4:00 in the afternoon and by 5:30 was playing catch and release. I was trolling the very north end of the lake using a wedding ring and worm. I found color did not mater, with the warm weather the trout were very active.
The south end of the lake in the Ft. Lewis area was showing a few Pearch in the 6 to 7 inch range. The Pearch were going for worms and/or power bate.
