I started out at O'dark 30 (5:00am). I fished the north side of
the island at about 30 feet. I was using the standard wedding ring with maggots and worms. I hooked two Kokes by 6:15. The first about 18 1/2 and the second was 16 3/4. I was marking fish around 25 to 30 feet until about 7:15-7:30 and all at once they were gone. I move over to the north/north west side of the lake. I went to a green wedding ring and worm and could not keep the trout off my hook. They were in the 8 to 12 inch range, so I
played catch and release until I had three that were 12" or bigger. I was off the water by 9:00.
