My cousins and I went to Green Lake in the morning around 6:30 and fished at the big T-dock by the swimming pool. We were fish for carp using both cornmeal and bread. We each had over 10 bites and only landed 2. They were nice ones too, about 2-4 lbs. My fishing buddy came and fished with us and he only caught 1 tiny trout. I was astonished to see that it wasn't a rainbow. It was either a brown trout or a dolly varden. He released it. By the way, the carp my cousin caught almost dragged his rod into the water. Luckily he grabbed it before it went flying in. Those carps are very strong and I better keep my eyes on the pole next time I go carp fishing.
