I worked over the lilly pads hard with a weedless salamander and produced a couple big splashes but that was it.....that is until I put on a weedless mini frog with a jighead and was slammed when I reached the far west point of the Lake in heavy cover and about two and a half feet of water,a few short moments and a series of monster splashes later I was holding a 4 1/2 pound Largemouth Bass and an adrenaline rush to last me the rest of the summer,I always catch and release when I fish for Bass, so that lunker is still there for you to enjoy........that is if you can catch him!
