On the weekend of the 6th of June, a friend and I tried to fish Alder
Lake. Of course, it was the "Free" weekend, so the place had lots more participants than the normal amount.
The lake was also super high and the floating debris was extensive. Not that a log jam would've stopped the idiot in the power boat that must've thought he was in a race. His boat won't last long using it that way.
As far as fishing goes, we received a few hits off worms...power bait
(usually works great) didn't even get a hit. The fish may have been a bit spooked...sunny day...lots of people...lots of floating debris. An odd trout or two were caught.
I guess I will have to try another day...usually, this is a fun lake to
fish.
