My friend and I got a late start on the lake as it was about seven in the morning. Anyway we thought we would start out with some power bait to see if we could get any trout. After that failed to produce results after an hour or so we cast a bobber and worm into the shallow areas hoping to hook a perch or sunfish. We got a couple of light bites doing that but no fish. Next we tried trolling very slowly with various spinners and spoons and after another hour or so without any luck we went back to still fishing. Needless to say the lake was not good to us at all and we saw no one else with any fish either. We'll try back in a couple of weeks as the lake warms.
