Fished the goose island area morning and night for two days for walleye, caught one 14 incher. There was an average of seven other boats around and they had about the same luck. Fished the coulee in between for some walleye and trout with a little luck on trout trowling wedding rings with a worm. Talking with people in parking lot, and on the lake fishing is real slow. They are supposed to start letting water down the canel the 22nd, so the lake water temp. should come up from the present 44-45 degrees. Maybe this will pick up the bite. " El Nino"?? Some schools of perch was showing up on the depth finder.
