Hi! My friend John and I decided to fish Lake Desire on Monday, April 6. We went later in the afternoon, just as the weather decided to change from beautiful to so windy the anchor wouldn't hold! No luck in about an hours worth of fishing all around the lake with spinners. After we landed the boat, we saw a smaller trout about twenty feet out having a good old time attempting
to gorge himself on some insect. The first cast landed that 8 incher. Another couple of casts, and one more. By that time of the day, around 6 PM, the fish were rising all over the lakes shoreline, but most looked to be in the same size range. I would assume that would mean it was recently planted, but I'm no expert.....
