After reading the last entry for this lake I decided to give it a try. Got my line into the water just about 3pm. There was still snow on the dock next to the boat launch. Air temp between 38 and 41. Tried power bait and power eggs off the bottom and a read and orange rooster tail.....nothing. Moved over to the other dock and tried the same thing...nothing. Also tried some orange Berkley salmon egg clusters (cut off 3 or so) and a bbber....nothing. Not sure if the water temp had dropped to low for the fish to be active or if it was too late in the day but I had enough and after 2 hours with the temp dropping I took off. Lake Meridian was stocked on March 1st last year!
