3 days of fishing Heart Lake and some of the walk in lakes in the potholes led to few fish!....Very poor, but the sun and warm days made up for the lack of fish. Locals fishing Heart reported catching a large catfish, so along with the numerous tiny perch this lake will no doubt keep going downhill. Reports from Canal Lake were poor also. I had to break ice the first couple mornings due to the cold nights, so the water is still very cold.
