Today I started fishing the shore at the public park. The beach was packed with people and not too many fish were caught. I didnt catch anything for the whole 2 hours i was there. Just when i was thinking about packing up, I saw my friend Bill Burnst in his aluminum boat trolling. I called him over and he kindly offered me to come out with him. He had already been out there longer than i had and had caught 2 rainbows trolling. We decided to anchor up and fish with power bait the rest of the day.By the end of the day Bill and i caught together 5 planters around 11 inches. I also caught about a 17 inch triploid as an added bonus. All in all it was a good day on the lake and I cant wait until the weather gets better.
