Went up to Allen Yorke Park after school today. Got there about 3:30. Tried a bit of everything in the soft plastics department with a few taps but no hookups. Then I put on a stubby black on top, gold on the bottom 6' diving crankbait and caught two small bass. I believe one was a smallie and the other a rock bass. I wondered over and talked to two other guys fishing and one said he caught a 49" 19lbs muskie right there from the shore at Allen Yorke this morning. At first I was thinking fish story until he said he had a picture, a shredded crankbait, an eyewitness(the other guy), and the fish to prove it. That was good enough for me... I was a bit disapointed that he didn't release it, but hey, it's not like they can't stock more tigers in a few years. I'm returning friday with a buddy or two and a boat...I'll let ya'll know how that goes.
