I read a few reports on this lake in the past few weeks, people saying how good it was. I decided to take my five year old son out and try it out. I have not been to American lake in ten years. I asked a couple of guys and a small boy in a bass boat coming out how the fishing was, they limited out. I launched at 10 and by 11:30 my son had his limit. Two of them were 13", and they were fat! The other three were 7 to 10 inches. If you have kids or even if you don't and you want to catch fish this is the lake to take them too. We trolled ford fenders and a worm. I also tried a wedding ring, got a few bites but nothing like the ford fender set up!!
