Well, the bad fishing probably wasn't the lakes fault since it was my first time here. I went in search of bass and only caught 4 small Smallmouths in 3 days and the rest of the family got skunked. It seems the only people catching fish were an older couple who were catching Walleyes. Everyone else (Walleye and Bassers alike) reported very little action. The campground was nice, clean, and not too crowded and that helped ease the pain of a long drive from Spokane with kids. Although the next time I want to head south to avoid the rain, I'm going back to Central Ferry! The campings more expensive but the fishing is better and it's about a half hour closer.
