Fished Medical from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Lots of rising fish despite surface temp of 74 degrees. I moved out to deeper water today, 35-45 feet. I marked some fish 25-30 feet down and slowly retrieved a stripped leech pattern with a 6-weight, full sink line and 3X leader w/out tippet. This yielded six takes, four of which were solid and resulted in immediate hook-ups. Two fish, both brownies about 18" were quickly landed due to the 6-weight and heavy leader. Both were strong and swam quickly away. Two others were lost at the boat, browns also, one of which was approx 22" and the largest brown I've seen this year.
