Got onto the water at 7:30PM to avoid getting fried due to the hot spell. Headed over to the side opposite the highway and began flipping my favorite leech pattern into the brush. About ten minutes went by when I had a hard take; was able to bring a twenty inch brown to the net. No more than ten minutes passed when I reached the weedy point and hooked into a nice nineteen inch rainbow on the same leech pattern. Had several more takes while fishing in the brushlines but none boated. This lake is definitely a nice night fishery; should get even better as the water cools a bit later on.
