Arrived at the lake about 11 AM. The winds were from the west at a brisk 8 mph, so decided to try last weeks tactics again.
On my sinking fly line, I tied a Carey Special, and down the lake we went. The first strike came about 15 minutes after launching and for the next 3 hours, the action was really steady. I had numerous strikes, however a number of them would eventually came unhooked. I eventually caught 6 fish which ranged from 12-16 inches and lost 8 other fish. One of my surprise catches was a 15 inch Cutthroat. All the other fish were of the Rainbow species. After 2:30, the action dropped off quite noticeably and eventually I quit fishing about 5 PM.
