I, and a few of my buddies, fished the lillies around the North and South parts of Newman for about four or five hours. We had a few solid hits. A few fish on and off before we could get them in the boat. The only real catch we had was a great one, though. About a 21 inch Largemouth, probably weighed about 4 lbs. Huge! Caught it about midday using a Moss Boss through the tall lillies on the North part of the lake. I love The Moss Boss, it's my favorite bass fishing lure. We barbequed it up that night...it was enough to feed five people with fish leftover.
