We had read reports of fishing being bad at Curlew this year. We got there on Sunday the 23rd, caught a couple rainbows off of Tiffany's dock that night. We fished at the state park the next day, and caught 20 rainbow for 5 of us. The smallest was 12", the largest 21 inches. In the evening, we caught and released 100+ bass. The trout fishing stayed good the whole week, and the bass fishing was excellent the whole time. I only caught 1 squawfish the whole week. We used powerbait with a 3 foot leader and a casting float at the state park. Bass would hit anything!
