Awesome day to start out the steelhead season! Tons of people out on the river this morning and I managed to pull in a good sized hatchery fish that was about 8 pounds.

The Steelhead are on the Methow.. A little slow but people are catching 7-8lbs steelheads all day long. Both Fly and Gear fisherman. I used a weighted fly with and eggdrop behind that under a bobber....
