Decided to try out Whitman after witnessing the long line at Ohop. Finaly got onto the water at about 6am there were only 2 other boats on the lake so i started trolling and bamm right off the bat cau...

Hooked a 12" trout and lost it. Other people were doing better with 2 or 3 to take home. Only 6 boats on lake.

6:00 AM - Arrived at the lake and launched the pontoon boat; weather was pleasantly sunny.
6:30 AM - Nothing. Not a so much as a nibble despite using a number of spin-casting lures and live baits....

I put my 10' jon boat in the water about 7:30p.m.
The wind was blowing a bit , made it difficult to keep in
position. It was about 85 degrees. Got a few bites on
spinner baits, none on rubber worms...
