Got to fish Silver Lake. The rain and hail did not have much effect on the Bass. Caught this stringer (released) by swimming a black jig along the edge. Water temp was 56 degrees.

Went out at 6 am and fished till 9 am without any action and a little after nine picked up a 5lb 14oz bass. We didnt catch anything else but that fish made our day. Cold but very fun.

In response to the last posting, State regulations for bass do work. It is okay to keep bass inside the regulations slots, it helps to do selective harvest. Check out this site.
