I trolled a countdown rapala and k4 flatfish in the morning. It was very cold and the fish were not active. We had a couple nibbles but weren't able to catch anything.

The white spots on the fish from Silver Lake are a parasite. I wasn't able to identify it from pics that I found on the internet, but I have a good pic of one that I took under a microscope.

You are indeed correct on the the no gas motors. However, there have been a great deal of them out there lately. I know the parks department gets to use one. Some are considerate, others are not.
