Then, Mike Carey heads to Lake Roosevelt, Washington near the Grand Coulee Dam to meet up with bass experts "Big Bass Dez" and Tom Melowitz in early May to learn how to catch spawning smallmouth bass on their beds. The guys search flats for bass beds then cast drop shot right at them. It's a fun catch and release technique that produces good numbers of fish. Other tactics are displayed to catch bass are shown as well. Highlights include underwater footage of bass taking baits over their spawning beds.
